I designed and produced an interactive educational website about the Syrian refugee crisis using animation, maps, and diagrams.
The website discusses asylum and whether or not countries are providing or are able to provide asylum. Each page provides insight into the crisis at different scales: First, with the overview of the crisis, then focusing on specific countries responding to the crisis, and finally, a case study of one city diagraming the relationship of the local government with the refugees. The user’s experience is informative as well as emotionally engaging.
